I enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant for a casual week day lunch or a stop off on my Saturday errands with friends, but would go elsewhere if I was looking for a nicer evening out. “ We got here as this place opened and there was no one in the restuarant. Its a smaller restuarant and started to fill up as we were finishing up with our food. Service was good to start because we were the only table. There was only one server taking orders and serving food so when the restuarant got busier we had to wait to get boxes and our check, but the server was very nice and let us know that she may be a minute. The menu is not super big so it was't overwhelming and super easy to decide what to get. We ordered the chicken pad thai, chicken pad gra pow, and tom kha soup. We ordered the hot on a level of mild, medium, hot, extra hot. The tom kha soup was really good! It had lots of veggies in it and had a good coconut flavor and sourness of the classic tom kha. Not the most sour tom kha I have had, but I think it was well balanced. The pad thai that we ordered "hot" was not spicy at all. I had to put a lot of chili flakes in it to get to the level of spicy I wanted so I would reccommend getting extra hot if you like spicy food. Their pad thai is on the sweeter side so if you like that then you will really like the pad thai. Lots of oil was leftover on the plate that the pad thai came in. LOTS of oil. The pad kra paw was pretty standard as well and came with an egg. The ambiance of this place is more quick casual vibes and they have a very convenient to go window on the outside of the restuarant. I would come back here if in the area, but I would not go out of my way to get food from here. ”

“ The food was a bit pricier than I expected, but it was absolutely worth it! The flavors were reminiscent of the dishes I've enjoyed many times on the streets of Bangkok. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were fantastic, very authentic. A word of caution - don't underestimate their spice levels! I opted for "hot," and it was truly hot. I can't imagine what "Thai hot" would be like! The Khao Soy was quite good as well, and we also ordered the tofu platter for my fil, which he enjoyed. The service was prompt and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. ”

“ Best neighborhood Thai spot in Denver! The Pad Thai is top tier, affordable, and has an incredible full flavor. Medium spice is enough to get your nose running. Tom Kha (a coconut-esque) soup is also a perfect appetizer in the winter. It's a somewhat small space with about 12 tables but it's cozy! ”

The fried chicken was crispy and delicious, too. Service was memorable-- the friendly server handled me graciously amidst take out orders and walk ups and never hesitated to ask if I was satisfied. Hey Bangkok! is a small counter style to-go/dining spot with amazing food and flavors. It's a very unsuspecting location just off of alameda blvd. We stopped in on a Saturday night on New Year's Eve. Immediately sat down and ordered food with quick turn around time. What we ordered: 1. Tom Kha soup w/ Veggies - $9 2. Fried Tofu - $8 3. Pad Gra Pow - $16 4. Kaw Soy Curry w/ Shrimp - $18 Ever since leaving I've been dreaming of the Tom Kha soup. I want to drink that broth in a glass. Maybe the best Tom Kha soup I've ever had. The Pad Gra Pow had a nice kick to it, I chose medium spice. Minced chicken with veggies was a perfect pairing for rice. The Kaw Soy Curry was also packed with flavor. Rich curry flavor with noodles and shrimp. We chose mild spice level for my partner and it still had some spice to it, not too much. I love spice but she needed a lower level. The fried tofu is just as you'd expect fried tofu to be. The batter was fried to perfection, not too soft and not too hard. The sweet chili sauce paired with was great!! This restaurant should not be overlooked because although they may not have a large menu, each item is PACKED with flavor. I NEED another bowl of that Tom Kha ASAP!! ”
